Episodix

Your data

We collect the strict minimum. Here's, in full transparency, what Episodix reads and what it ignores when you upload your TV Time archive.

Minimization principle

Our import is strictly selective: we only read two files from your archive, followed_tv_show.csv and tracking-prod-records-v2.csv (or, as a fallback, the older tracking-prod-records.csv), whatever you upload.

What we read

  • The ID of the show you follow
  • The show's name
  • The date you started following it
  • Your follow status (watching or dropped)
  • The episodes you marked as watched, and when you watched them

From this information, we derive two things: the list of shows you follow, and the episodes you've already watched.

What we ignore

  • Your IP address
  • Your login tokens
  • Your devices
  • Your linked social accounts
  • Your friends list
  • Your comments

Everything else in the TV Time archive is never read, parsed, or stored in our models.

About the file you upload

Your file is read then immediately forgotten: we don't store it. If you drop off the full .zip archive, only followed_tv_show.csv and tracking-prod-records-v2.csv (or, as a fallback, the older tracking-prod-records.csv) are read, the rest is never opened. To minimize what you share with us, you can drop off just those two files instead: follow our step-by-step guide.
